Welcome!

For nearly a decade, the U.S. Clean Heat & Power Association (USCHPA) has provided superior advocacy, networking, education, and market information to companies in the business of clean, local energy generation.  Indeed, more than 60 organizations and their affiliates (including several Fortune 500 companies), 300 individuals, and allied industry groups recognize that USCHPA membership delivers benefits in the form of sound clean energy policy and marketplace solutions necessary to survive in today's energy environment.

USCHPA brings together diverse market interests to promote the growth of clean, efficient energy in the United States.  It is a private, non-profit association, formed in 1999 to promote the merits of CHP and distributed generation and achieve public policy support.

USCHPA documents the benefits of clean heat and power to the public and to decision-makers.  We sponsor conferences and workshops and prepare reports and releases to educate the public about clean heat and power. What is more, we create opportunities for our members to network with each other, and with key government officials, to promote greater understanding of the benefits of clean heat and power and to ensure a strong foundation for the industry. USCHPA also participates in federal agency programs to promote CHP and clean distributed energy.
